Warren Roger's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Warren Roger here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
It seems as if Warren was always there for me because he was. When his mother taught at Johnson Elementary School our mothers had play times for us and he became a constant in my life. We were part of the Methodist Peace Temple youth group of 1964 - Mr Himes was our Sunday School teacher from 7th grade thru High School. He was there for me in 2003 when my world fell apart and I will always cherish those times together.

Warren was a great person to be able to work with in the high school. He and I spent quite a few sessions hashing out issues that we came across in the classroom. I enjoyed knowing him. Kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable were all terms easily applied to him. He dearly loved his family. He will be missed.

Mr. Howard was my math teacher back in 1981-1982 middle school and my drivers training teacher along with Mr. Walls. One of the kindest, gentlest teachers I ever had. He never seemed to get upset with people and I think he knew how hard algebra was for middle schoolers because he sure did keep his cool all the time. Great person and teacher.

Hello, I am sorry to hear of Warren's passing. My mother and I talked with both Virginia and Warren in the 1970s about the Brown genealogy years ago. Alta was like a second mother to my grandfather after my grandfather's mother died. They lived with Alta and her mother. Alta took my grandfather and his younger brother to get a photograph wearing the last clothes their mother made for them. They were only 3 and 5. If you ever want genealogy information I am happy to share what I have. I would also be happy to get any old letters, pictures, etc. of family which you may not want. Cindy (Granger, In)

Warren and I taught Driver Education together in Hartford for several years. We enjoyed sharing humorous, sometimes hair-raising tales of on-the-road experiences. God bless him.
