Starks Family Funeral Homes conducts honorable flag retirements of aged, worn or torn United States flags by burning them in our cremation facility.
If you’d like to retire a flag, please bring it to one of our chapel locations. We will work with the local American Legion Post to conduct the ceremony.
Families of veterans who have died may also request that their loved ones be draped with a retired flag at the time of their cremation. This is a dignified way to honor both the flag and the veteran who served our country. Let us know if this is your wish.
