I met Sandy Reimers in the 70's when we began to vacation with her family at Sister Lakes. Her family was amazing and between our families we had SO much fun. It was a vacation we all looked forward to each year. Sandy was an amazing woman. Beautiful-funny-caring and valued her family and friends. I continued to stay in touch with her over the years. We corresponded on the phone and letters. She was such a kind person and cared so much about other people. She shared countless stories of how she helped people. I admired her courage as she went through many challenges in life. May she RIP now as she is joins her wonderful parents and other family members. I just heard of her passing and this makes me very sad.

I first met Sandy while she was doing laps around my department at Whirlpool. She was such a ray of sunshine and I always enjoyed talking to her as she walked by. I am so sad for her family and pray that you may find comfort and peace in your memories of such a special person.

Sandy was my neighbor and good friend. I'm so shaken by this news. I miss seeing her on her daily walks through the neighborhood and also miss her drop ins to chat. She was a genuinely sweet and sincerely caring person. Our neighborhood will never be the same. Rest in sweet peace, my friend.

I’ve known Sandy for about 7 years but it’s as if we knew each other all our lives. We were more like sisters than friends. I was devastated when I heard what had happened and will miss her with all my heart. I’m so grateful our paths crossed. Rest In Peace My Sister and Friend! And please give your Mom and Dad a BIG hug for me!
