Sandy's Obituary
Sandy was born April 13, 1953 and she was the middle child of Herb & Curly Reimers. She attended Christ Lutheran Elementary School and Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, MI and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1971.
Sandy worked at Whirlpool in the call center for 23 years and retired in 2020.
Sandy loved walking around downtown St. Joseph and always took time to stop and visit with everyone she met. She was a giver and always wanted to help others. She frequently drove people to doctor appointments and the hospital. She also would sit and talk to people for hours while visiting them in the hospital room. Her dad introduced her to all the veterans and she would frequently go to breakfast or supper with them. She would drive them to Chicago for appointments. She became active in supporting veterans in the “Lest We Forget” program.
She loved her three nieces and three nephews and would spend as much time as she was able visiting with them. Her main love was for her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. She was a life long member of Grace Lutheran Church and always considers that her second family. She served for many funerals and loved going to Bible Study frequently.
She is survived by her brother, Randy (Monika) Reimers; her sister, Sue (Tom) Kehr; nephews, Brett VanWieren, Daniel & David Reimers and nieces, Tammi Sucheck, Brooke Wolters and Elizabeth Reimers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Raycraft, her parents and her cousin Alan Grinnell.
