I remember my uncle dressing up as Santa Claus and bringing us children our presents on his sleigh. He definitely will always be in my memories for moments like that.

Condolences to the Dongvillo family. I worked with Bob years ago at WFC. He always kept me laughing and was a wonderful person. His passion was farming and he often said that is all he wanted to do. So glad he got the chance to live that life.

From the moment we met Bob, we knew we would be friends forever. His smile, sense of humor, warm and inviting personality and generous spirit made him someone you just wanted to be around. When you were in Bob’s presence, not only were you having a great time, you were being “cared for”. He always wanted everyone to be comfortable. We are so very saddened by his passing, feeling we did not get enough time with this amazing and sweet man, but we know he will be looking over his family and friends and without a doubt we will see him again. Ruth and family, we are all better people for having known Bob.

Ruth and your Family, Dave & Darlene, My mom was Reggie’s best friend and since I moved away in the 90’s she and Bob were always my visits to the farm; I have now lost my connection to the Dongvillos?. Deeply sorry to hear of Bob’s passing, it saddens me greatly he was a hard working Farmer! Prayers to all of you?❣️

My deepest condolences to the family. Bob was always one of my favorite human beings and customers when I worked right around the corner from him. We would often text during Notre Dame games or he would text me for an update. He generously gave away tickets to ND games he couldn't make. Even though I've been gone for about 8 months now, I'm still going to miss him dearly! RIP "Donkey!"

I’ve known Ruth since childhood and she’s always been part of my family and has always lived in my heart. We’ve been through a lifetime of living together. When she meant Bob I liked him right away and soon he also became family. He always had a great listening ear and a kind voice. I’m still in Dearborn so didn’t get to see them much but we always knew we’d be there if needed. On my 50th birthday, they drove all the way into Dearborn for the party and had to go back home that night, cause the grapes needed him. He was a wonderful friend and a honorable man that will be truly missed. I know Ruth, Megan, and Michael will be ok because of the love he gave to them and the love he left them here. There’s always love for Bob!!! I’ll miss you ?

Dearest Ruth and Family, We were shocked and so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful man who's smile always lit up the room when he would come in for visits. He was larger than life in so many ways. May the fond memories you share of the ways he touched the lives of all of us be a comfort during this time. Sending love and prayers, Alan and Julie Smiy

One of the good guys. An example of the best husband, dad, and grandpa one could ever hope for. I know he will always be with you cause he was that kind of guy. Robin Zollar
