My condolences to the Elmore family. I played basketball against Monk in high school. I remember being happy when I saw him in line our first day as freshmen at Hampden-Sydney. I didn't know he was going there and I thought for sure he'd be playing basketball! Instead I got to compete against him in intra-murals for another four years where he continued his string of beating me! He always had a smile on his face and a nice word for everyone. I'm saddened to hear of his passing and I'll pray for him and his family.

Dear Raymond - I miss you so much. I lost my biggest cheerleader. I feel a little lost. I will always remember you telling the servers I needed my own table just for my appetizers! Thanks for always making me laugh! You are so missed my friend. I am praying for your family.

So sorry for your loss. Monk went to school with my children at Colonial Heights High School. I was best friends with his grandmother, Ruth Elmore. He was a nice young man and he loved sports. He will truly be missed. Keeping his family in prayer.

I just found out today and I'm very sad. I worked with Raymond at HB Fuller last year and when I recently changed jobs to Conn-Selmer, I got to see his cheery face again. My heart and prayers go out to his friends and family

I am so sorry for your loss. He brought a lot of fun to Accounting (if that is possible). I enjoyed working with him the short time that I did. He will be greatly missed.

I don’t even know where to begin. I’m so sorry for your loss. Monk was one of the kindest, funniest, loving people I knew. I remember babysitting him and even then he was just…..good through and through. I loved him and I cherish my memories of growing up with him. Please know that my heart is with all of you.
