So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Mike as a board member of the Berrien County Cancer Service. He was a strong advocate of all the work done. We will certainly feel the loss. RIP Mike.

We want to express our deepest sympathy to the Levi family. We first met Mike on the sidelines of athletic events cheering on our kids. It became apparent early on how deeply he loved his family and how much he cared for everyone he met. Not only will he be missed by his family and friends, but by the entire community. He impacted so many people by coaching teams, supporting young life and young adults, and just having a positive impact on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.

Dearest Mike. Nearly everyone in my circle knows that the things I enjoy most in life are quality time with family & friends, good food, & hearty laughs. We are kin. Thank you for hosting so many silly gatherings at the lake cabin. Although I could never win the Yuker match, I did enjoy the the process of trying. One thing is for sure, the BBQ on the 2nd wknd in Jy was sure to be pleasing & plentiful. Thank you for keeping those around you grounded. We learned the art of introspection from you. Although your life was cut short in this realm, we do believe U will be present in the afterlife. Your contributions to family, friends, & community have been special & meaningful. Thank you for being a loyal friend & quality example for good living. We will all miss you. I am certain you are at peace. Love you, Sarmiento Family.

I did not know Michael well, but we lived down the street from the Levi’s and I wish to extend my deepest sympathy for your loss.

This is a tough one for me and many like me. Over the last 7ish years, I got to know the CFO, then the family man and lastly the friend. Tough on his vendors "come on over here and sit next to uncle Levi so that I can keep you honest", to "in the Levi house things work like...." and finally "lets have a beer and wings". I grew very fond of the discussions about home rehabs, pontoons, grandiose ideas, and "whats next". Simply....I already miss my friend. Thank you Mike for spending time and sharing the story.

I am so very sorry for your loss Levi family. Working with Mike for the last several years - he was passionate and he cared about both his job and other people. Conversations about work happened, but the good ones were typically about kids sports, family, family vacations, Disney, and real estate. Going to miss him.

I’ve been trying to figure out what to say about my friend Mike since he has been a mentor, neighbor, partner in crime, advisor, and friend for the 50 years of my life I have known him. Just like many other people have said Mike always put people he cared about as a priority in his life. He didn’t just talk about it he went above and beyond in terms of supporting his family and friends with food, transportation, guidance, support, and whatever he could. For comfort during this difficult time, I was reminded this morning that “I am with you” declares the Lord (Haggai 1:13). I will miss you my friend, but I will see you again someday. Doug Bredeweg

We have known the Levi family for 50 years. Our three sons and Mike, Steve and Heather grew up as next door neighbors. They have remained as close friends over all these years. As an example of Mike’s kindness and generosity – During the past month Mike delivered soup to our house, on two occasions, because Ruth Ann was recovering from a hospital stay. Thanks Mike for your willingness to share with others. Memories of you will live in our hearts forever. Roger and Ruth Ann Bredeweg

"Oh death where is your victory?" Paul wrote in one of his epistles. Enjoy his memories soon enough we see him again, which is our hope (Titus 2.12-13). May the Holy Spirit grant comfort to friends and family.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike for 22 years, and spending many Saturday's together during football season. To say that he will be missed, doesn't begin to express the feeling of loss. My sincere condolences to Mike's family.

My deepest condolences to the Levi family. I worked with Mike for 15 years and always saw him trying to help anyway he could. He helped my son through a difficult time, for which I will always be grateful. He loved to cook! Many times taking food over to those who need a break, or a little help. A strong Christian man who definitely showed the love of Jesus to all those that would listen. Until we meet again my friend, rest in the arms of Jesus. God bless you!

I want to express my deepest condolences to the Levi family. The obituary was so well written and captured Mike perfectly. What could be better than at the end of our lives it was said about us that we were a Christian Man that was passionate about his friends, family and serving others. I work with Mike and I know he will be greatly missed. God Bless you all!
