I remember always calling your mom, Mrs. Fowler, but I thought the name Meredith was a beautiful name. She always spoke with a warm smile & soft voice. When high school parties were held there, Chris had parents that would disappear upstairs trusting all of us. One evening I saw Mrs Fowler come down just fair enough to check & then disappear again. I always felt welcome there and I just knew that they were loving & caring parents.

Meredith's 2 youngest boys were born the day after me. I spent as much time at the Fowler's house as I did at my own and she was like another mother to me. She and Gordon dubbed me "the Velvet Bulldozer" as I was oldest and always felt I should get my way. When I was a little older she allowed me to borrow her puzzles and books and introduced to me to the delights of Earl Grey tea and Drink. We also shared a dedication to our furbabies even my mother didn't understand. I will miss her and hold my memories dear always. She was the epitome of what it means to be a lady.

I knew Meredith when she volunteered at the St Joseph library bringing books weekly to the Whitcomb and shut-ins. She was always gracious, intelligent, and kind. A exceptional woman. She was my friend.

Chris, I have lots of good memories of your parents from the parties at their home. They always made sure we had fun but were safe. Good memories! Prayers to you and your family.

Chris, I remember you from school. I send you my condolences on the passing of your mother. Reading her obituary, it sounds like she was a fantastic woman and mother. I hope you are able to find peace in this most difficult situation. ❤️
