My Nana was a remarkable woman. She gave selflessly in every way to anyone that needed something, whether it be a smile or something funny, she would always be willing to help make sure someone had a good day. She was always sneaking goodies/treats into your bag when you weren’t looking and leaving little rolls of dollar bills in tucked away in your things ‘just in case you need it sweetie’. I am going to miss her so much and will treasure all my time with her. I remember having the blessing of staying her with her for a little while and her teaching me how to embroider and I got pretty good at it, sewing however…not so much. But! Looking at her life through pictures in her photo albums and stuffing ourselves full of jellybeans, watching the only VHS (Phantom of the Opera and not the new one either, the creepy one that gave me nightmares) on her it 10 in screen box TV, her accidentally mixing cornmeal into her biscuits instead of flour, and always ready for ice cream…even if it was snowing outside. I am forever thankful that she was able to meet my kiddos, with the youngest being 95 years younger than her. I don’t know how saying goodbye will make it any easier but knowing that I will see you again one day, Nana…makes this day bittersweet. Bittersweet because you are finally reunited with your loved ones that have gone on before you yet bitter because I selfishly wish you could stay here with me. I love you so much, Nana. I will forever love you and remember for both of us, for all of us…rest in sweet heavenly peace Nana.

Mary was a very beautiful blessed lady. She loved all, she was always sewing for friends, and giving to help those in need. She loved children. My husband and I love Mary with all our hearts. We have very special memories, she went camping one day with us, many visits to ice cream shops, and Bob Evans restaurant, shopping, cook outs at our house, holidays was blessed with Mary's presents, many a day of laughter between here and Darrel joking with each other. Window visits during covid season, with one window visit begin during her birthday, we had cake and ice cream any way. Mary you will be missed, we have pictures of you with so many memories that will always fill our hearts. Rest high on that mountain.
