John was my only nephew. He had a lifelong smile and positive attitude. Complex devices fascinated him. As a young boy his first computer experience was helping his father build a HeathKit PC. During family visits he marveled at my analog hi-fi system and huge record collection. As a grown man John built a state-of-the-art tube hi-fi that surpassed anything I ever had! We enjoyed talking about our technical hobbies. John was much more than a technical “geek”. He was an excellent cook who used mostly fresh produce and expertly chosen meat in his creations. I admired him so much and his passing will be a loss to all who knew him Uncle Guy

I met John at the St. Joseph-Lincoln Senior Center where I am employed. John was one of our wonderful Volunteers who would transport our seniors to doctor appointments, hair appointments, etc. I really enjoyed talking to John. He was always so uplifting and had such a gentle spirit. I was sad when he had to stop driving here at the Center. The last time I saw John was when he came in with his sister to see the Wood Shop that was in the midst of being developed and I remember how excited and impressed he was with it. Thank you for your smile, John, and your easy way.

I worked with John for years at the Tech Center. John was super intelligent and I have always remembered him as being a very kind man. Very sad to hear of his death and sending my sincere condolences to his family.
