Jim and I send our sympathies to the family of Jean Mort. Mrs. Mort was one of the sweetest people that I ever met. Mrs. Mort gave Jim piano lessons while we were neighbors. My granddaughter and I would visit her after we moved away from State Street, and it was always a joy to see her and spend a little time with her. I think the last time I saw her was in September or October and she really seemed to feel well and enjoy our visit. I am happy that I got to see her one last time. I will miss you Mrs. Mort!

Dear Yogi, Pam and Amber: My deepest condolences on your loss. I have many fond memories of your Mom/Grandma and the support and encouragement she provided from the stands during the ballgames at Eaton Park. I will fondly remember her as always having a smile on her face. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. God bless you all.

To the Mort family, Although I never met Mrs.Mort, she had to be such a sweet and dedicated mom to take such excellent care of Debbie, a classmate of mine. Her gentleness and sweetness was reflected in Debbie. Godspeed, Mrs. Mort and give Deb a hug from me.

Yogi, I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was such a special person. I remember her so fondly during my visits to see Debbie. Her smile lit up a room. May the Lord give you strength and peace at this most difficult time.
