Mr. Jim was a second father to me, along with many other "Coloma kids". He always had a smile, even when I was up to some shenanigans with his kids. He and MaryEllen were always there for me, and I will never forget their kindness, and welcoming natures. Rest in Peace, Mr. Jim.

I remember Mr. Jim when Jill and I were friends in high school. We always walked to their house after school because it was right in town. Mr. Jim and Mary Ellen were all of Jill and Janet's friends "2nd parents ". I got to reminisce with Mr. Jim many years later when he became a patient at the dental office I work at. We used to laugh about the things us girls used to do at their house! He's always been so sweet, he will be missed.

Mr. Jim was such a great role model to me for many , many years .He always made me feel so comfortable around him ,even at a very young age of around 10 when he and MaryEllen treated us girls to dinner and I accidentally split ketchup all of him !! Mr. Jim wiped it off with a smile and kept talking to me as if it never happened, we made a bond then that was never broken ❤️ I will miss most all the good advice he has given to my husband and I over so many years , I love you Mr. Jim I hope your dancing with MaryEllen you both had a big part as to who I am today , prayers for the family for your loss ?love T

Rest In Peace Dad. You always helped me fix my car when I needed help. You taught Jimmy and I the value of a dollar. And you always enjoyed a good Lions game! I never could beat you in pool, but we always had a great time.
