Hollis's Memory Wall

I know Holly dealt with numerous health issues over the years, but he always had a smile. The few times I was able to meet him at reunions, I enjoyed his sense of humor and I know he made my Aunt Alva happy. Now he is in the presence of the lord.

So sorry to hear that Holly passed, I worked with Holly off and on for serveral years, he had a great sense of humor and was a real worker. Holly knew his stuff when it came to the work at GTE then became Verizon, he jumped in where ever he was needed. My prayers are with the family.

My wife Silvana and I first met Hollis when our daughter Marijana started dating his son Toby. Hollis invited us into his home for dinner and it was easy to see where Toby got his sense of humor and morals from. Hollis had us laughing with his stories about raising Toby. Fast forward a few years at Toby and Marijana's wedding and at the reception and Hollis and I were talking about how proud we were of the kids we had raised and the life they had made for themselves. Fast forward a few more years and I'm sure Hollis was as happy and excited as Silvana and I when our grandchildren Stella and Oliver were born. Hollis thank you for raising such a fine son who is a perfect husband for our daughter and a perfect father for our grandchildren. Rest in peace old friend.

RIP former neighbor. Holly’s sense of humor, love of fast cars, and friendly nature brings back many good memories from the ‘60s. Thanks for the good times.

To the family of Holly, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have many great memories of family camping trips, Jeff and Toby and our girls learning to water ski together, and holiday get-togethers. Holly was a great friend who would do anything for you. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Jeff and Toby, we will not be able to attend the funeral since we are in Florida but we are thinking of you and wish you peace, comfort, and strength. Rest in peace friend. Ann and Scott
