I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Herr Koppenhoefer. The Haack family and his friends at the St. Joe Kickers will dearly miss him. I will fondly recall our times together, watching soccer, speaking German, and maybe having a schnapps. Our sincere condolences to his wonderful family.

So sorry for your loss! Praying for Gods peace for you all. Brian worked with Hanns at west Michigan tool & Die. We both loved Him and your family. Loved the family get togethers we had during that time. Nothing compares to knowing where your loved one is. In the arms of the Father.

Our family is mourning and celebrating his life. He lived a long, happy life. His family was his priority, and he loved us all no matter how we came to be part of his life. He never showed any indifference to my girls or me. It was a blessing to marry into a loving and caring family that Opa and Oma built. I am blessed and grateful that my husband had an amazing role model in Opa. He will continue to honor Opa and follow in his example of loving and taking care of his family. Opa and Oma were always there to support us whenever needed. We love him and will miss him terribly. WE LOVE YOU, OPA; we carry you in our hearts!

My heart is broken by the loss of my beloved father but I am finding solace in knowing it will begin to slowly heal now that he is resting peacefully in the arms of the Creator. My father embodied the importance of values, integrity, responsibility, and tireless devotion to family. Most importantly, he taught us the value of life itself and never taking anything for granted. Two of my proudest honors will always be being his son and calling him Dad. He leaves behind many cherished memories that will perpetually pulse in our daily lives and warm our hearts. His wisdom, encouragement, involvement in every facet of my life growing up, expressions of love, and so much more will be sorely missed. While my father is no longer physically with us I will draw strength from the power of his example and the radiating glow of his enduring light as he smiles down upon us from above. May he rest in peace and his memory be a blessing to us all. -Efrén Paredes, Jr.
