My Aunt Carolyn was always filled with kindness to me. She and I always discussed movies that we recently watched. I will truly miss her and the fun times we had together.

When Barry and I married 50 years ago I finally got two wonderful sisters….Debbie and Carolyn. Carolyn was my local sister and we were the same age. She had a wonderful sense of humor and and brought so much joy and love into our lives. I am thankful for our 52 years of memories and knowing we will see each other again.

I met Carolyn at scrapbooking weekends in South Haven. She was always so friendly and enthusiastic. Always interested in all of our projects. And soooo complimentary. She will be missed by all of us I am sure.

John(Christine) & Family I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I had gotten to know her well over the last several years and really enjoyed it when we bumped into each other and got a chance to chat and catch up. Another fond memory was when she came to see Kaiya when she was born and she made something for her and also brought a gift for Cadence as well so she didn't feel left out. She was such a kind loving person with a big heart. I will greatly miss seeing her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Nicole and Trevor Dykstra

Aunt Carolyn was always warm and cheerful. I have so many great memories with her. I remember spending my afternoons with her everyday in kindergarten before Brian, John and Jenni would get home. We’d do crafts, listen to records and she even let me ride around in the third row of her mini-van. I felt like a movie star. As a high schooler I got to spend time with her in the preschool classroom where she was a paraprofessional. Her love and care for students is something that has inspired me in my own teaching career. I will always cherish these memories.

So sorry to hear this news. I have known her ever since we were kids at our Sunday school days at Lacota Methodist Church. Carolyn was so sweet and kind. She always had a “hi how are you”, every time we would run into each other. My sympathy and prayers to the family. Rest In Peace.
