I have had the privilege of doing Carolyn’s hair for many, many years and we shared lots of memories together. I will miss her dearly, and her family that I’ve gotten to know also. Carolyn you will always be in my prayers as you teach Sunday school in heaven. Love you. John and Marge

Mrs. Corteville (she will always be MRS. to me) was my Sunday School Teacher in the First Baptist Church of Benton Harbor’s Primary Class. Her and Mrs Rose taught me together, as I remember it. She gave me a gold star every Sunday that I attended. :) They taught us about Jesus. With pictures and stories, we learned to read our New Testaments in 1-3 grade as they slowly filled with gold stars.

It was such a joy to know Mrs. Corteville. She was such a lovely Christian woman. We shall never forget her. R.I.P. our friend, until we meet again. God bless the Corteville Family. You have our love and prayers during this transitional time.

Our families spent a lot of time together as we were growing up. She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed.

My husband and I were blessed to know Miss Carolyn and her love for our Lord, family and friends. She touched our lives by simply being the woman God called her to be.
