Carola was one of those special persons that I felt honored to know. Everytime I spoke with her I was amazed with how brilliant she was. It was almost overwhelming! And the whole time you were speaking with you her smile was like the sunshine.. This world is a better place for Carola having passed through and I am honored that she was my friend! Rest in Peace, dear Carola..... you are now happy in heaven ..... God bless you! Thank you for allowing me to be your friend!

Zusammen beim Coupé d‘Europe und Heidenheimer Pokal in der Karl-Rau-Halle. Das helle Klirren der Floretts und wir beide mitten drin. Ja, das Fechten hat uns zusammengebracht, damals in Heidenheim. Unsere Freundschaft hat nie aufgehört. Und ich bin so stolz darauf, dass ich zur Taufe der Kinder in Bolheim dabei sein durfte. Carola, Du bist eine meiner ältesten Freundinnen und ich behalte Dich immer in meinem Herzen.

Cat, I'm very sorry for your loss. I remember your mom from the Hollywood school days. And how kind of her when she recently delivered your gift to Allison to our house. May she rest in peace.

Carola was a loved and shared her love. She included me like an adopted daughter in many family activities. I enjoyed traveling to Germany with her and her children.
