Bernice's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Bernice here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
Bernice and Tony were such good neighbors and friends. They welcomed us in when we first moved into the neighborhood. They invited us out for dinner to go try a new place they had found or to one of their favorite places or just to go for a drive. They took our girls for ice cream or to go see the horses and ducks, and often our girls would go across the street to get a piece of candy from Bernice's candy dish. We have good memories of our visits to their lake house where Bernice was always so sweet to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed -- coffee, cookies, lunch. Jesse and Tony would go fishing, or we would all go for a pontoon ride around the lake and a couple of times the girls went tubing. More recently, we would have pizza with Bernice in her dining room visiting, laughing, and discussing life and she would share adventures she and Tony had taken. We are so grateful for our time with Bernice! She was a spunky lady and will be missed. -- until we meet again.

I was honored to be a caregiver to Bernice. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. We watched many old westerns together and also The Robe and Song of Bernadette. She was a very faithful lady and we had many conversations about faith. I will always remember and miss Bernice. I love you, special lady. Thank you for letting me be a part of your final journey.

Bernice you will be missed every day. Such a good neighbor. I did not know there were so many good old westerns till watching a number of them with her. Hope she is now traveling the west with Tony. They told us so many good stories of their travels.

I had the pleasure to get to know Bernice when I gave her piano lessons in my home. She was the most beautiful lady inside and out . She loved playing the piano but l over her organ even more. I loved visiting her and seeing her and her little dogs . She would always ask me to play music with her and stay for refreshments and visit. She had a strong faith, and after losing her son, her husband , her faith kept her strong along with friends who were there for her. I will miss her sweet voice , and loving ways. God Bless you Bernice
