Bernice M. DaDan, 101, of Stevensville, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, peacefully at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 10AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 220 Church St., St. Joseph, with Father John Fleckenstein officiating. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Society of the Little Flower, 1313 N. Bernice was born on December 18, 1922, to Vito & Giovanna (Martinico) Forgia in Chicago. On December 20, 1946, Bernice married the love of her life Anthony DaDan at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
Bernice was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the women’s auxiliary at Stevensville American Legion. She enjoyed watching movies, especially old Westerns. She also loved playing the organ and cooking.
Bernice is survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony DaDan, son John DaDan; parents, Vito & Giovanna; and siblings, Helen Bellavia, Rose Porcaro, Joe Forgia, and Vito Forgia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 269-556-9450.
