Amy was my boss, my friend, and yes, she was my work mom. She was one of the strongest women I have ever met. She loved me and my family like her own, she always ran over to see my boys when they visited Lowe’s and patiently waited to see their Halloween costumes during our annual reverse trick-or-treat. Amy and I spent quite a bit of time together during my years at Lowe’s. Countless hugs, crying sessions - both tears of joy and tears of sadness, early mornings, late nights, all nighters, I will forever treasure that time. Amy always supported everyone she cared about in anything they did. She was a huge supporter of my wife’s business, one of her top customers three years running, and she even joined the book club. She was someone I could go to no matter what and I always knew she would give it to me straight, if her words didn’t say it, her face surly did. I saw her light up when she would talk about her kids and her grandkids. She always told my wife how lucky she was to be a boy mom because boy moms get the best job in the world. I may not have been Amy’s biological son, but I will forever be honored that she considered me just another one of her boys and if one thing is for sure, she was definitely my second mom. ♥️

I was a 1987, CHS graduate with Amy. She was a very outgoing, stand up for herself and others, kinda girl. Always willing to help anyone out. She had a friendly, beautiful smile. I would follow her FB posts of her lovely grandbabies. May her family members feel God's comforting arms around them and rejoice in knowing she is healed.

Amy was my boss at Lowes but she became my friend. I’m so sorry for her loss but she is in God’s hands now and is no longer in pain. May God speed her journey home.
