Prayers to the family in this difficult time. Roger was always smiling whenever I saw him. His family meant the world to him. So sorry for your loss.

Too many memories to count, but no matter which one I think of, he ALWAYS had a smile to go with it and a great sense of humor. Probably my earliest memory is of Roger and my husband grilling bologna on the grill because that was the only meat they could find in either kitchen. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Roger will certainly be missed. So sorry to learn of his passing. We went to South Haven basketball games , went fishing together, stopped in to chat with he and another Co worker at his first job in Kalamazoo. Prayers and sympathy to Marcia and family. One great guy.

Roger was a close friend and teammate of my late husband, Jim Hawkes. I remember stories about Coach and the good old days on the ball fields in South Haven. I will always picture Roger in Heaven throwing a baseball with Jim and their teammates! My prayers are with Marcia, my hurt hurts for her heart. Rest In Peace, Coach!

Roger was our sons freshman basketball coach. We really enjoyed that time and appreciated his coaching. I was reunited with him some years later and enjoyed many great times fly fishing rivers here and Montana. He was a devout Christian and a great role model. I was fortunate to share time with him.

Marcia, this is VIctoria from First Congregational Church. So sorry to hear of Roger's passing. Only knew you both through the years of you coming for the Holiday Bazaar in November. Roger was a joy and certainly a talented woodcarver. My sympathy to you and your family.

Marcia - I was so sad to hear about your loss of Rodger passing away. A great guy who always had a wonderful attitude about life. He sure gave the Strong Fight. I have many fun memories of Roger as a true gentleman from our 1957 class. God Bless you & your family. Love, Brenda Tait NOLAN
