We knew no one when Bradley and I bought our house on Osterhout Lake. Marilyn and Susan were among the first to introduce themselves, and we knew immediately we’d made the right decision. I’ll never forget Marilyn’s smile, Susan’s love and dedication after Marilyn’s accident, and the love and respect between them. Rest in peace, Marilyn, and thanks for letting us in to your life.

We will always be Thelma & Louise, skipping out on work to catch a movie or to hit the casino. Man, did we love our snacks! Living on nothing but butter braid and m&m’s during tax season. We always got each other and there was nothing a little Mr A’s or a cookie dough ice cream didn’t fix. You will always mean the world to me and taught me so much. I am so lucky to have had you in my life and memories that I will always cherish. Love you always.

I sold Marilyn and her husband their first hone in 1972. We then had five additional real estate transactions together. She also started preparing my taxes in 1972 and have had the Hollinger’s ever since. She was a wonderful lady and so kind to everyone she knew. Rest in peace Marilyn and thank you ffir the wonderful memories I will never forget ❤️

I first met Marilyn when I started my professional career at Zenith in 1980. She had a delightful sense of humor and was kind to everyone. I later learned she lived down the street from me in Wheeling and we would often car pool together and for awhile we worked in the same office area (at Zenith). That was also the year (1981) she started doing my taxes, then later did my brother's and many other family members and friends until she retired from the tax business. I will miss you Marilyn and thanks for the friendship and great memories. God bless.

Marilyn started preparing my taxes in 1997. She continued until John took over for her.( he's still at it for me. Aren't I so lucky!) She would come the middle of March. Sometimes on or near St. Patrick's Day. When she finished, we always had GEEEN beer together. One year I fixed corned beef for us. What fun we had! Marilyn was a dear friend. My thoughts are with Susan and all of Marilyn's family. Peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. When I think of Marilyn I naturally smile. She was an incredibly talented, hardworking professional who was a joy to see every tax season. She had a kind gentle heart and loved her children & spoke of them with pride. It was an honor to have known her & to be one of her clients. I'll miss her stories and zest for life.

To all of Marilyn's family, we send prayers and our sincere condolences. Marilyn was a kind, funny, personable yet completely professional accountant who took the dread out of tax time and replaced it with an annual pleasant conversation. May she rest in peace and your fond memories be a comfort to all.

Oh my - our mutual friend Laurie Svec just sent me a link to Marilyn's obituary just now. I am SO saddened to learn of her death! She was a fellow trudger on the road to happy destiny, a friend and my accountant as well. Sincere condolences to Susan, Kathy, John and Susan. Our little community of friends is lessened with her loss. Prayers for Susan, her kids and all who loved her.
