Marilyn's Obituary
Marilyn Hollinger, 75, of Grand Junction, formerly of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at her home. She was born October 5, 1945 to John and Elizabeth (Nash) Erskine in Oak Park, Illinois. Marilyn worked in tax preparation for many years and eventually owned and operated Hollinger and Associates in Wheeling, Illinois for 37 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister – Geri.
Marilyn is survived by her partner of 28 years—Susan McCann of Grand Junction; children—Kathleen (Ron) O’Connell of Rockford, Illinois, Susan (Tim Stephenson) Hollinger of Carol Stream, Illinois, and John Hollinger of Carol Stream, Illinois; sister—Nancy Cerny of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
