I remember Mr. Kerber as a very patient teacher who was kind to all the teens struggling with German pronunciation. I also recall being in his class when President Kennedy was assassinated. A long time has passed but I remember him fondly. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I had Mr. Kerber for first and second year German at K Central, I graduated in 1968. He was a very patient teacher and always very helpful. I am so sorry for your loss. I became an elementary teacher for Kalamazoo Public Schools and taught for over 35 years.

I also had Mr. Kerber for German at K Central. I graduated in 1972. He was a great teacher who always had a smile on his face, unless you forgot your homework translation! I also enjoyed the German club including bike rides to his house in the country, where he hosted refreshments. Sorry for your loss.
