Dear Sheila and Family,
I met your Mom and Dad about 40+ years ago when I moved into the house across the street from them in SJ. They were lovely people, and very hospitable to the new single woman across the street. I know that you miss them both. My husband, Dick, grew up in LaRue and graduated from high school there the same year as your Mom (before joining the family business in LaRue...the Ford family funeral home), but I am sure that they knew each other back in the day since people visited back and forth so much. When we've been back in Marion and gone to church, we've always run into people he remembers or can connect with family. Hoping that you and your family are doing well and glad that you have each other to support you at this tough time. Kind Regards,
Alice Ford

Dear Sheila and Bruce, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Even though it's been many years since we were all together here in Marion, I still have memories of play days at your home on N Main St. Our parents were so close; it was almost like all the Gorenflo's were more like brothers and sisters with my mother and father rather than cousins, especially with all the activities at Greenwood Church when we were kids. My parents were so sad when when you all moved to Michigan. I was 8 years old, but I remember her being helpful for many events at the church back then. May all your memories give you both much comfort and peace in the coming days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Sincerely, Sharon (Ferriman) and Craig Snyder

Sheila and Bruce: We were sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Though happy to know this was her graduation day to heaven. We will look forward to the great reunion. It's hard to walk through this path while losing your mom but God is our comfort. Prayers for you all. Love, Ken and Vicki Behr
