So many memories of my beloved Brother-In-Law, all of them good! And that's the best way to describe Mark, he was truly "One of the good guys". Some of the best memories involve family functions (which is a testimony to Mark in and of itself, LOL), where Mark, Charlie, and the other Bro-In-Laws would have lively discussions, cold refreshments and epic card games - the normally kind of quiet Mark was in his GLORY!! There was never any doubt how much Mark loved family. He especially loved all the nieces and nephews, everyone's kids AND everyone's pets - he was also an awesome Doggy Daddy. I wish you would've been able to visit us in Florida, as I know how much you loved warm, sunny weather and palm trees, but I find comfort thinking that Heaven is exactly that for you. Sammy (your Faux Bro) and I will miss you deeply and forever be grateful to have loved you.

Mark loved warm weather but, but he was an adventurous brother. Sledding on our hill that ended at the creek meant a change of clothing due to thin ice.We explored Hickory Creek, bringing home crayfish and pollywogs. Their new habitat was the rinse water tub of the washing machine. May the Lord comfort you and hold you close as you know Mark is with Him now.

Oh Mark, what fun we all had! I remember your 39th birthday, which you proclaimed to be just immensely crabby about, as you put it, being “thirty-bleeping-nine years old!” What babies we all were, but Anne and I led the party goers in a rousing rendition of a made up song, to the tune of happy anniversary (think the flintstones for those of you not immediately recognizing this lovely tune) because as much as you didn’t want to think about it, Anne and I were sure you were going to acknowledge it. It’s hard to ignore Anne or me, and especially when we are together. Or parties in Florida during bike week, with “sharky sharkerson.” You will be missed, every day my friend. I’m glad to have known you and to have called you my friend for all these years. ❤️ Love to all, Alisa
