Mrs. Stover was the most influential teacher I had in high school. I can clearly remember her classroom and learning the basics of composition and English Literature. She was a beautiful human and I will fondly remember her for the rest of my days.

I was literally thinking about Mrs. Stover just last week. I’m fact, I thought of her often. She was definitely someone who had a profound effect of me and so many of my friends. My heart goes out to her family. Know that her memory lives on in so many Lancers!

Mrs. Stover was the greatest teacher I had at LHS--3 years of English! She was tough but fair. We had an agreement (since there was no way I was going to read all the books she assigned) that if I could pass her voluminous English class essay exams she wouldn't ask me detailed questions in class about the books! Rest in peace.

Mrs. Stover was one of my favorite teachers at LHS! I was so happy when she made a point to attend my graduation open house, gifting me with a dictionary and a silver pen that had a tiny digital clock on it. :-) She was energetic and funny, and I will always remember her fondly! Rest in peace, Mrs. Stover.

I was fortunate to have had Mrs Stover for English 3 of 4 years while at LHS. I am not so sure I thought of it as good fortune during my high school years, but I realized how much I learned from her once I was in college and long after. Thank you, Mrs. Stover, for lighting my path so many years ago.
