Condolences to the family. Dorothy was always a delight to be around. We shared many wonderful fellowships with her delicious recipes. Good food and good conversations. Many wonderful experiences of faith that Dorothy shared with the congregation. Birthday's were always a treat we'd get a singing, "Happy Birthday" song sung to us over the telephone from Dorothy. Wonderful family and times that will be always treasured for years ahead!! Dorothy and Sherlock always took great pride in taking care of the church inside and out. Cheerful dedicated loved ones that were only to happy to lend a helping hand. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family now and in the coming days.

We were saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a wonderful, compassionate and kind person. We knew her quite well from church. Please accept our condolences and our thoughts are with the entire family. We will not be able to attend the memorial service on Thursday and we apologize for that. I hope your day goes well and that you will find the joy and comfort that you need right now.

I was the lucky girl who lived across the street from Dorothy & Sherlock.... I loved hearing stories of Arkansas, as I also had family from there... Dorothy and Sherlock were great neighbors and we spent many times out in the front yard talking. But there is one thing I miss to this day.... and that was the chocolate pies, apple pies (with little apple cutouts along the crust) and the many desserts she blessed us with. My family was also so thankful for her generosity and for our friendship.... what a great picture of my special neighbor, just how I remember her.... My deepest condolences to her family, she was a wonderful, loving and caring lady whom I greatly cherished.
