I am sorry for your loss but happy Doug is in a much better place and now he sees everything clearly now. I was a friend of your mothers and my husband suffered a closed head injury. we met at the local head injury support group, your mother mentioned you and your family always with a smile or giggle....i felt like i knew you thru her.......we also shared a lot of resources to try to get the best care we could for our loved ones......... the struggle is now over ......everything is right now.....sincerely, linda curtis....if you ever want to talk please call 269-429-8305

Bekki,
My condolences on the passing of your brother Doug. Like you, all of my immediate family members have passed. I didn't know your brother, but I sense the loss you are feeling. His service in the United States Navy is appreciated. The Legion will give him the military rites that he has earned and deserves. My brother and I were close even though he lived in Montana. He passed in 2005 and my mom passed in 2007.
My name is Tom Fanning. We met in the early 1970's while attending LMC. My wife and I moved to Shoreham a few years ago following a farm accident that has left me a paraplegic. I see you have children and grandchildren; very happy for you. I have one son 37 years old and he is still a bachelor! I would love grandchildren.
I didn't mean to write an epistle. I saw your name and remembered you, and wanted to share condolences for your brother.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Doug. He was in some of my classes at Jefferson Elementery School. Sometimes I would run into him at different places when I came back to St. Joe. to visit. He was a really nice guy.
