My sincerest condolences to all who loves and knew Johan.
I met Johann once.
I remember the day well as it had a big impact on me.
Even though he was not well a the time, he's kind and very spirited nature was genuine and infectious.
I shared a few stories with him and left inspired to remember to see the good around me.
Rus in vrede

Oom Johan... gone but never forgotten.
Ek kon die dag nie glo toe hy die Vauxhall vir my gee as my eerste kar nie....
Rus sag my Oom, ons mis jou

Ouboet
Wel, Johan het net vir my gesê " jy bly by of raak agter".
Johan was 'n rots vir my

My parents would always get in trouble if they didn't drop me off at Uncle Johan's house first when we went to visit my grandparents in Nigel❤️

Rus in Vrede Oom Johan....x

Uncle Johan inspired my interests for electronics, gave me my first soldering iron at a young age and sparked a passion for robotics, a talent which i use to this day both professionally and as hobby.
In my teens I helped him with the initial building of the Austin Healey, a car that he allowed me to use for my graduation, my matric farewell celebration. this was a very remarkable moment in my life, spending weekends at his house and building this car will remain with me forever.
A few years later I asked that he be the master of ceremony at my wedding and he presented the exchange of marriage vows. Yet another fantastic memory of a good man. He will be missed.

Kersfees by ons huis met wartlemoen speletjies. Wees daai bok vir sport daar waar jy rustig is sonder pyn. Liefde Linda

My Ouboet Johan
Jy was ‘n groot deel van my gesin...
Witbank dam....
Jy was awesome my ouboet...
Lekker rus nou...
Wimpie
