These past few years grew ever more difficult, but I will always remember those many years of my childhood spending holidays and special occasions with Aunt Lillian: confirmation, graduations, recitals, weddings. There are so few people who are around for all of one's life. I always think of Aunt Lillian's pistachio pudding at holidays, the cloisonné Christmas ornaments she gave as presents all those years, Scrabble games, her hugs and kisses through the years. I've had them for thirty years, but I will miss Aunt Lillian very, very much

So very glad that I visited with her each time we made it up to MI over the last few years. I spent a good portion of my childhood with my Great Aunt Lillian and have the best memories of going to see the Nutcracker with her and baking cookies at Christmas time with her, my mom, my Aunt Valerie and cousins. THOSE are some of the absolute BEST memories I have - baking, singing, laughing (some bubbly might have been involved LOL) and just pure joy. She never forgot a birthday and loved her lipstick and jewelry and her Cubbies!! I'm so grateful that my kids got to meet her and know her as well. She was so loved and will be deeply missed. ❤️

My sincerest condolences to your family on the loss of your beloved Lillian. I grew up on Guernsey Ct next door to Lillian and her mom. She was always so pleasant to be around. My parents referred to her and her monther as a Great Neighbors. One of my childhood memories is when she would be outside working. Her mother would come outside and call her name. She would pronounce it "Lily-YON" That was a great little street and neighborhood to grow up in/on, with many Christian people. May she rest in peace.
