Lillian M. Wendt passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at The Whitcomb in St. Joseph, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Services. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Lillian M. Wendt was born in St. Joseph on January 3, 1925 to Adam and Emelie (Ruppel) Wendt. She worked at Whirlpool Corporation after graduating from St. Joseph High School, and retired in 1987 after working there for 45 years. Lillian was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Joseph, Michigan. She loved to travel, loved her family and friends. Lillian is preceded in death by her father and mother, Adam and Emelie (Ruppel) Wendt; her siblings and their spouses, Richard (Elsie) Wendt, Elizabeth (Lawrence) Rill, Arnold (Brenda) Wendt, Arthur (Anita) Wendt; and her nieces and nephews, Mary-Louise (Alan) Cull; Terry Wendt; Joseph Naylor; Susan Wendt-Hildebrandt. Lillian is survived by her loving nieces and nephews and their spouses: Richard (Jo) Wendt, Judith (Rex) Jeschke, Kathleen Naylor, Robert Wendt, Cheryl (Richard) Dresser, Valerie (David) Lenfield, Christine Wendt, Tim (Mary Lou) Wendt, Kai Hildebrandt and many much-loved grand-nephews and nieces.
