Hi Vicki (and Kevin) Wiley and Reg Eighme--
I was saddened to open the newspaper and find Jan's obituary yesterday! I notice one person here said she was in a nursing home, but I had no idea of any of this. That's what I miss about COVID19 and online church--we don't get the sheet to see who is on our prayer list! I wonder why they can't send that with the Pioneer Midweek? At any rate, I am sorry to hear of her passing and I wish for the whole extended family God's peace and comfort. I'm glad to see that memorial gifts will go to Neighbor to Neighbor! I have not returned to volunteering there yet; my family really wants me to wait until a vaccine is available. Right now I am self-quarantining; my granddaughter buys my groceries even, so I don't have opportunity to even buy a card. I've not been anywhere in over three months! It's no fun to live this way! ~Rosie Nash~

Me Eighme was alway a joy to work with. She was always a wonderful representative to her Christian belief. I am looking forward to seeing her again when our Lord and Savior comes to take us home again. Praying for peace and comfort for the family.

I worked with Jan From 1973 till 1997 . She taught me many things as I was new to this country ! She was fun to work with , she often talked about her two daughters.
I have not seen her for few years not knowing she was in Royalton manor nursing home.
RIP Mrs. Eighme until the resurrection day “Even so come Lord Jesus “

So sad, we used to joke that we were twins. She of course was born first (that is why she is older) and I was born 2nd. I was much taller than her because they really had to pull hard to get me out (some 30+ yrs later). Patients would ask for Jeanette and we would go in knowing that we weren’t the one they wanted. Everyone would have a good laugh about it.
She was a gentle soul, sweet, caring, and would share her knowledge of the Lord with you. Most of all she was a mentor in my journey as a L&D nurse.
Until we meet again my friend. XO
