To Barb & the Cluff family...we are so sorry to learn about Vern. We recently would see you both at Navajo Restaurant. Great minds (and stomachs) think alike. But Rene & I have known Vern for a long time. He always liked to joke around and make others smile. Vern was a great man and will be missed a lot!

Missing you already Buddy, your ever-present smile, your laugh. Thank you for being a part of our family, for the loving care you took of our daughter, and sharing your home with us always. I will always miss you and remember you. Say "hi" to Roly for me.

Whether at the Legion or Bill’s Tap, Vern had a way of getting things going. I never saw him mad or upset.
RIP ‘kid’.

The picture on this notice was what Vern looked like all the time, happy with a smile.
I met Vern 11 years ago at his home for a Christmas Eve Party. We had never met and I was new to the family. Vern had found out I was a Sons of The American logion member, so we became friends. We talked every time we met about all the National offices I held. After 50 years in the Sons it is not as important to me, but it was for him. Vern Belonged to The Baroda Post. He was loved by every person he met. Not just the Sons, The American Legion members. and The Members of The American Legion
Auxiliary. He was the life of the party. I and Joshua transferred to Baroda a year ago. We wanted to belong were he belonged. We had one, or three beverages with him once in awhile.. I am going to miss him, and we all will take care of Barb. I wanted to tell what kind of guy he was. It was very simple. VERN WAS A GREAT GUY.
This is for you Vern.
