I will never forget that no matter how sick no matter how bad or how good something was my grandpa was always at all events he could come to for me in iowa. I have 4 kids and he was here within 2 weeks with all of them. He was so great and I miss him so much already. I love you grandpa. You deserve the world.

To The Bennett Families: Andy and I were so sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was always so proud of his wife, girls and grandkids. Never, ever saw Larry out and about without a child in tow! I know Andy had so many fun and great memories of Larry with Little Brothers! Larry always had a witty comment for every situation...I always waited for one!! Rest in Peace Larry. Our sincere condolences for his family. So sorry we were unable to make the viewing/services. You are all in our thoughts.

I am so sad to hear of Larry's passing. What a great guy! Larry and Marlene were the young couple with three little girls who moved next door to us when I was in elementary school...I feel like I have known him my whole life. He was witty, kind, and fun! I don't think there was anyone who didn't like Larry. I watched him raise his kids, enjoy his grandkids, play Santa at Justus Gage Elementary School. He never failed to give me the business when I ran into him at the grocery store or at Clark Chapel. My mom, sister, and I were so comforted that he still worked at Clark Chapel when my dad passed away...it just seemed right that he would be there...an old neighbor at the right time, right place to share memories. My sincere condolences to Marlene, children, grandkids, great-grandkids...he will be missed by many. Suellen Hadley Gause
