I wish to offer my condolences to Peter Abel's family. I also wish to share my long ago and fond memories of life on Pleasant Valley St in Methuen, being introduced to the Abel family by my upstairs farmhouse neighbor, Carl Nelson. I may have been 8 or 9 years old. I remember thinking these older boys (Peter and his brothers Paul, Mark , others?) were the "coolest"!
Life back then seemed simple and beautiful. The hay bales out in the fields that you guys turned into dark mazes to crawl through were amazing to a kid my age!
I will remember you, Peter, with these and many other fond memories. Dave Downey

Shannon, so so sorry to hear about Pete. You are in our prayers. We loved having you guys for neighbors on Miller St. Hasn't been the same since we left. David & I send our condolences. You guys were special to us.

So sorry to hear of Peters death I am a neibor and family friend when Peter was a young boy living in Methuen his sister Kathy and I are friends since high school so sorry for your loss

DEAR SHANNON, TOM AND I WERE VERY SORRY HEARING OF PETEY'S PASSING. HE WAS THERE WHEN I WENT THRU CANCER AND WAS A GOOD FRIEND TO TOM. HE WAS A GOOD PERSON AND WE FEEL REALLY BAD. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF, TOM AND PAULINE

so sorry to hear of Peters' passing. Di and I will light a candle for him. He was a fine person who took very good care of my mother Amelia. His kindness and that of Shannon will never be forgotten. may he rest in peace. bob and Dianne vogler
