My deepest sympathies to Ruta and the entire family. I was so sad to hear of Dave's passing and only hope that there is peace in the knowledge that he is no longer suffering. I have such fond memories of growing up with Dave in Iowa and he was part of some of the best times I ever had in rural Iowa. He was a true friend who will be sorely missed, but I will carry those wonderful memories with me for all of my days. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you all during this difficult time and while I will be unable to attend the service I am there in spirit. God bless you all!

In honor of David, Dorie Fox lit a candle.
I want to light a candle for my son Dave who I love with all my heart. It was so difficult to watch him suffer, but he fought the fight and now he is at peace and with his dad.

Very sorry about your loss. David will always hold a special place in my heart. He was a great guy, who you could always count on. I won't be able to join you in Iowa this weekend for the service, but will be with you in my family's thoughts and prayers.
