Oh Adam where have you gone? I cannot believe this is truly happening. I will miss your smiling face so much. You were larger than life with the sweetest disposition. I truly enjoyed my time working at the Yacht Club while you were there. What will Denny do without you?You will be missed by so many people and the hole will be enormous. My heart goes out to your family who has counted on you as their rock, especially since your dad has been gone. Eric and Halley, big hugs to both of you, I will always think of you as the Three Musketeers. Adam I know you are in heaven and surrounded by love and light and sending nothing but love down to your family and friends that have been left behind. I hope everyone will use that love to sustain them until you all meet again. God Bless your soul, and all of your family as well. I will miss you always Adam....

To the Umbrasas Family:
My sincerest condolences at this time of deep loss. I had the honor of knowing Adam during his tenure as Manager of the Village of Three Oaks. We worked closely on a project for his beloved Community and his professionalism, profound knowledge base and kind heart shone through in all he accomplished. May you find a measure of comfort from your faith, family, friends and in knowing Adam has left a lasting impression for generations yet to be. Renée E. Reid-Smith

I was in the same fraternity as Adam but at a different time and chapter. I only met Adam a few times but he was a good man and filled rooms with positive energy. Rest in high above the clouds Brother Umbrasas.

In honor of Adam, Tom Grunwald lit a candle.
It's not often that an older man looks upon a younger one with respect and awe, and wishes that he could be more like him. However, that was the case with me and Adam. Watching him 'work a room' with ease and poise, listening to his counsel, and just enjoying being in his presence while we enjoyed a Phi Sig moment are but of the few gifts from Adam I will miss the most. The only way I can make sense of this is to trust that God takes the BEST flowers for His garden first - RIP Brother and my sincerest and deepest condolences to his family, especially Queen Eva.

In honor of Adam, Shawn J Shivnen lit a candle.
Adam and I shared a lifetime of memories over the last 20 years. We served Phi Sigma Kappa as chapter president, chapter adviser, and Grand Council Director. Being able to have a great friend from another chapter was always appreciated. We had been going to PSK national functions together for almost 20 years, and we never failed to have a good time. I'll miss you Coach.
