My deepest sympathies and prayers to your whole family. I worked with Maury's son, Maury, Jr. at Huggett-Betten and heard many stories about Sr. from his day.

I have so many great memories of Morrie over the many years he worked for Bouma-Betten,
His skills were exceptional and especially in doing ornamental detail.
I am sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and Morrie JR in particular.

I'm very sorry to hear of Uncle Mort's passing. I didn't find out until after the funeral or Terri and I would have been there. Again we are very sorry for your loss.

With sympathy, please accept our loving thoughts and prayers. Mort certainly had to be be a true believer, to have been a Cubs fan all his life!

Wow! This is so hard. I am so glad to have moved back home this past summer.
Uncle Mort, what do I say? I remember you from my earliest childhood. Always good natured, loving and caring. A good role model for all. You always worked hard and our families were always close. I remember great times at the lake. I always aspired to one day beat him at horseshoes. Never happened. He would consistently throw ringer after ringer. It was maddening.
I remember your ardent support of the Cubs and was so glad you got to finally see them win the World Series.
Marty and I wish you blessings, everlasting peace and serenity. We all have a big hole in our hearts and will miss you greatly. Our warmest sympathies to our close cousins and their families and all who were touched by Uncle Mort.

“Uncle Mort” oh my! If I searched the world over I’m sure I could not find an Uncle more caring or kind. Peace be with you Uncle Mort. I may record the family history but you’re my guiding light and inspiration. The family as a whole has suffered a great loss. My warmest sympathy to my cousins and the whole family!

How can I describe Uncle Mort? Kind, supportive, gentle soul, and non-judgmental. He always makes us feel welcome, important and loved. His strength, guidance and unconditional love of family and friends is evident. His legacy lives on through his devoted family who took such wonderful care of him. He is and always will be present in the daily lives of those who love him. My heartfelt sympathy to Linda, Gloria, Mori and Julie. May you find comfort knowing how much he appreciates and loves all of you.
