Brian and I have many fond memories of Gordy, including his stint as bartender at our wedding reception. He was a close friend of the family and he will certainly be missed by many. My condolences to Opal, Garry and Nancy. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mr.Gordon Krum , was the Greatest Mr. proprietor in the U.S.A. Everyone loved him , he will be missed ! My only regret was
that I didn`t get to work for him in my younger days.

My wife Judy and I both had the honor of working for Gordy. Judy worked at Airway Lanes during high school, and I worked for Kalamazoo County State Bank in Schoolcraft, where Gordy served as a Director.
He is one of the very best men that we have ever met, he would always do the best for his employees, and was much more than a boss, he was a friend.
God Bless him, Opal, and his family. He will be missed.

My Sympathy to the Krum Family:
Gordy will be sorely missed in Decatur and I will miss
his beautiful smile and warm handshake that he always
greeted everyone with. When we moved to Decatur Gordy
was one of the first people we met that made us feel welcome.
Gordy and Opal have always been there when we needed a
friend or advisor. He and Larry shared many a laugh and
enjoyed the local Ball Games at the school, they also
shared a birth date.
Rest In Peace dear Friend, it has been a privilege and
honor to know you. Sincerely, Edna Ralston

Opal,
I’m so very sorry to hear about Gordy. What a great loss to you and the town of Decatur. Everytime I saw him, he always made a point to ask me how I was. He was such a caring man.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Love
