I worked with Bill for many years in Grand Rapids. Bill was simply the best. I was fortunate to meet his family at his retirement party. The man made great ribs on his smoker out back. He took me back to his lake. Floating milk bottles with lines attached to catch fish. Oh I loved that. He was one of a kind. Sympathy to the family. RIP my friend.

Hello,Bill Bennett House, Bill had a Praise morning on the eighth, still able to speak & witness to the word of God. About an hour before he died (no speech) he looked at Sharon, took his hand from her placed it on his heart, the same with Renee. The night before @ 10:30 he called for Mia & I; he wanted to talk, and he heard her plans for the garden this spring. Mia & I saw his last smile. He talk for & hour or longer before sleep shut us down. That same evening early, he facetime with son Michael, the expression on his face was pure joy. I pray that his blessings for his house be with his seed forever ♾️. His last voice of praise was in the morning when he called me to give him God's word. I spoke and he witnessed. We praised our Lord together. Amen. A.M.Evans family rest now in the bosom of our Lord.

Thanks Auntie for all you did during and after Dad’s transition. I will forever remember the morning prayer and praise sessions at his bedside, the delicious meals you cooked, the late night caregiving, the last conversation we had the night before Dad’s passing, the positivity you upheld the entire time you were here and the encouragement you spoke to us. I thank God that He made you my Aunt. Love you with all my heart ❤️

Our love and prayers go out to the entire family. Mr Bennett was our neighbor who quickly turned family. He always had wise words for us youngsters and he was a man full of love. From sitting on the porch, him watching his little chickadee (our daughter) play outside, to my husband and him fishing there are just so many good memories and we are going to miss him so much. The good lord most definitely has a beautiful Angel with him now ❤️

My uncle Bill gave me my first nickname (Princess). He never greeted me with my birth name. I always felt so special. My mom (Tee) would always pack us up and drive to Michigan to spend time with family. Some of the great memories was going on a boat ride in the pond and eating some great food afterwards. As my children became older we always drove to Michigan for pumpkins, apples from the orchard and to get fresh vegetables from uncle Bills’s wonderful garden. To all that knew my uncle he loved the Lord with all his heart. It touched my heart to hear him sing and pray. He will truly be missed by his Princess, but I have so many great memories to cherish in my heart.

Thank you Cousin Princess (LOL). For all the calls checking up on your Uncle and me, your words of encouragement from first hand experience, for your prayers on the phone and just for being there for me. I am forever grateful that we are cousins and that our parents made sure we have child hood memories to look back on and smile 😊

Sending hugs and prayers to the family. I am happy to of had the pleasure of meeting and working for Mr. Bennett, as well as being his neighbor. He was a Great man, and I will surely miss driving by seeing him working in his garden or mowing his lawn, and the great talks we had. Rest easy, Mr. Bennett

Thanks so much Bonnie for your kind words. I appreciate all that you did for my parents. You were their family. Before I met you, they talked about you so much I just had to meet this person LOL! And they were right! We loved your baked breads you brought us and the sweet watermelon out your garden. We missed having you during the pandemic but we thought of you often and I still do. I pray you are enjoying all your grands and life in general.
