My deepest condolences to all of Wendell's family and friends. He was such a kind man, and I appreciated his light and laughter so very much. I got to know him over the last 15 years and I'm so thankful of the presence he had in my life. He always checked in on me, uplifted me when I was down, and supported me. I couldn't have asked for a better friend. He will be deeply missed. Please take solace in the fact that he touched so many lives that he came across on a daily basis and formed so many positive connections to people who were strangers once upon a time. He was very loved.

Wendell was the kindest, most hard working, and funny man that I’ve ever had the blessing of working with. He took pride in everything he did and taught me so much. My love is to his whole family right now. There are no words to express the loss of this great human. He was a one of a kind type of man. One that appreciates life with the most wholesome smile on his face. He was loyal and dependable. He was honest. His laugh was one that would touch your heart forever. I watched him lift up so many people just by simply being the sweet man that he was. We love you, Wendell. Rest in paradise Bubba. You will forever be missed.
