I first met Wally when I worked as an x-ray technologist at Mercy Hospital. Later, when I managed the radiology department at Berrien General Hospital Wally serviced our CGR x-ray equipment. Wally was able to troubleshoot a problem and get the equipment operational quickly. I appreciated his unique sense of humor. After many years of working with Wally I knew I had become part of his inner circle when he gave me one of his famous cigars. Wally is among those people who I was privileged to know in my 40 year career.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.
