Dearest Dr. Bock,I only now saw the obituary for your beloved wife. I am so sorry for your loss. 70 years is a long time. I have such fond memories of our time working together in surgery at St. Joe Memorial Hospital. I remember working with you on call when we got a stab wound of the heart. You kept your finger in the hole til you could pursue string around the hole. It was touted in the papers as the first open heart case in the hospital. Those were some of the best years of my life. I'm married to a wonderful man who reminds me of you. We live in the country in Tennessee. I'm sending you a hug of condolence for your loss.

thoughts and prayers go out to Dr. Bock and family. I had the privilege of Mrs. Bock when I worked at Memorial Hospital and talked to her many times. So sorry for your loss. Never easy to say good-bye to a loved one.

I met Jinny when I checked out her groceries at Martin’s. Such a nice person. So sorry for your loss Dr. Bock, John and the rest of the family.

Jinny was the best. Met her 40 years ago at church. After reading her obit, it detailed so many facts which explain why I liked her the first time we met. Iowa, the farm, and her maiden name. Thank you for sharing her great story.
