I remember meeting Tim when his family moved to St. Joe. We both attended Christ Luther Church and school. He was a great friend and loved his dog, Boots. Those were wonderful days at CLS and the St Joseph public school later. I remain happy to have known Tim. God bless his family still on Earth as He blessed us with Tim's friendship.

The news of Tim's death makes our hearts sad. However, we feel joy that he is in the presence of God, our Maker. We are honored to have had Tim be a part of our lives. Ron remembers fondly the time they taught together at Hosanna Tabor. Tim played a part in getting the two of us together. On a ride home from a conference in Ann Arbor, Tim told Vicki about Ron and suggested that she get to know him. The rest is history! We pray that God will give you, Gaylin, and your family what it takes to persevere without Tim's physical presence with you every day!

Dear Gaylen and family, So sorry to learn of Tim’s death. He was a treasured friend and college roommate in AnnArbor. His sense of humor was deep and broad and appreciated by many. His intellectual skills admired, and his willingness to help others in the day to day, cherished. Rest eternal, grant him O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon him.

Oh I’m sad to read this. He was ‘Mr. Winter’ to me, as my 4th grade teacher at Hosanna Tabor back in the mid-late 1970’s. He was definitely a favorite teacher of mine, I have good memories of him …. Reading wonderful novels to us every day after lunchtime; taught us to write on-going stories and how to share them with the classroom; showed endless patience with math lessons, teaching until everyone understood the concept; joined us in playing stick hockey outside during recess; etc. He made such a positive, lasting impression on me, made me feel valued when I had an especially difficult home life. He made me love going to school!! My deepest condolences to his family. ? I know someday I’ll talk with him again when it’s my turn to live with God.
