Mrs Upton, Fred, Charlie, Mike, Liz and Jeff- I spend many hours at Ups and Downs as a kid. Mr Upton/your dad was always welcoming, kind, and oh so smiley. He will be dearly missed.

Dear Elizabeth, So sorry to read about Steve’s passing. Our family has many wonderful memories with you, Steve, and your entire family. Sailing, Sea Island, Durovin, Chicago, to name a few. Steve was a wonderful person both personally and in the community. We’re now living in Canton, Georgia and will not be able to attend the funeral. Ours prayers are with you and your family. Hello Betsy, this is Mike Hall. I just wanted to express my condolences and so sorry to hear about the passing of Steve. Back in the early 80s, when I worked at Bruno in New York City, quite often, I would pick up Steve when he would come to visit me, Whirlpool's Bruno Product Distributor and Arthur Sarnoff. In 1987, I worked under Steve, when I ran the "Cool Line". He was a wonderful person and will be truly missed. Unfortunately, I cannot attend the ceremony to celebrate his life, because we will be in Florida. Our Prayers will be with you and the family.

I was lucky to have been a babysitter for Steve and Betsy Upton. They had Fred and Charlie, then. Then we’re the kindest couple ever. They took me with them, when they moved to the Boston area to help with the kids for a few weeks. Treated me like family. Sorry for you loss, Doreen (Van Lente ) FIgg
