Ruth's Memory Wall
We encourage you to share your most beloved memories of Ruth here, so that the family and other loved ones can always see it. Share your favorite stories or comment on those shared by others.
We have been walking by Ruth's house with our dogs for years and years, but didn't become acquainted until the summer the lone purple-and-white-striped petunia grew up through a crack in her driveway. We really enjoyed that silly thing, and told her about it one evening when she was out watering. After that, every evening when we walked past, we waved at her front window and she would smile that famous smile and wave back. Every so often, she'd come out to chat; the dogs, who considered her their Very Special Friend, would sit in her front yard so that she could see them easily from that window. We worried when we didn't see her, and the dogs looked for her every day. We were so very glad that she was able to spend her last days in her home, surrounded by her family. But we will miss her so very much.

I had the pleasure of meeting Grandma B through her grandson, Jason. She was an amazing great grandma to our son, Kason. He has so many fun memories with her. Baseball in the front yard, bubbles, hide and seek, ping pong in the basement, etc. Grandma Brenner will be sorely missed! R.I.H.
