The first time I met Ruth was years ago at the bookstore. I remember she was very kind, friendly and a caring Christian lady. My deepest condolences to her family who will always hold her in their hearts.

Oh Ruth, the smile says it all. I can't remember a time in my life when I didn't know Ruth...from playing in the playhouse at the bookstore as a toddler to working for Ruth and Jake for several years while my own daughter and their grands played together in that same playhouse, the welcome was always warm and genuine. I loved the laughs we shared, especially when she'd come to me in need of an "interpreter," and when we'd giggle over our mutual fondness for "there has to be a better way," and then pursuing the solution. So often she inspired me to see gentler perspectives. The world is a little less bright without her shine. Thank you, Ruth, for being such a real, loving, understanding, and wonderful presence to all who met you. Thank you to the family for sharing such a great person with us all!

Praying for you as you celebrate the life of a dear mother, grandmother, friend and wife. I remember your parents as wonderful people. They worked hard and gave generously to encourage others. Heaven will be sweeter and we rejoice that Ruth is fully alive and healthy living in the presence of her Lord.
