Dear Russell - You were always a sweet, dear friend. We only dated for a brief time, yet we shared something special. One time you told me that I smelled "Purty” and I have Never forgot that. Great memories of playing Frisbee in both Lake Bluff Park and Riverview Park, especially at night, under the lights. Hanging out at the beach, partying down on the rocks, cruising the Plaza. The list of times we all had together goes on. My friend I will Always remember you in my heart, in my mind, my soul. ❤️

Russell I'm at a loss for words and never expected to b reading ur obituary. Our house at the old campground was amazingly beautiful and we shared so many wonderful times. I just can't wrap my head around this happening. Watch over and protect Brad and his family. This is gonna b a hard road for him losing u. U were one of those very special men who took good care of their child as a single parent. U showed love, compassion, honesty, and everything else as a role model not just for Brad but his children as well. U will b so very missed.

Russell I have so much to talk about all the memories we had growing up from playing pool in your basement, times spent playing Frisbee in the park partying at riverview. And so many other things I was so looking forward to getting together with you this summer. To talk about all the crazy stuff we did I will miss you my friend
