I remember Ron from walking home from Lincoln elementary and Zion church. I am very moved by the remembrances from my classmates Wayne B., Jim N., and Jim J. Ron was quiet, very congenial and the best thing was that perpetual smile. R.I.P.

Ron and I were best friends from grade school through high school. We rode our bikes or walked to and from school in all kinds of weather and spent a lot of our time down by the river fishing, shooting BB guns, or hunting rabbits with his dog, Spot (with mimimal success). I have never known a more happy-go-lucky guy or a more loyal friend. We shared some wonderful childhood adventures together! Thanks for the memories, my friend. Wayne Belke

Ron, you were so dearly loved by my dad (Ben) and my family. We had some great times at the legion. Will never forget. Rest easy, friend. Hope you are sitting with dad right now.

The happiest guy I've ever known. The photo of him here is what he always looked like. I have great memories of spending time with Ron enjoying the great outdoors......especially the week of Christmas break during our senior year of high school.

Ron and I went sledding in the ravines behind the hospital as kids. With his Mom and Sharon, we picked raspberries at the Geissler farm on Niles avenue. We had some great fun doing those things as kids.
